Emily Zeck is equal parts Texan and New Yorker, and is very excited to add Aspen to her residential resume. Emily has had a passion for theatre since the age of 5 and has been involved in some aspect of it ever since. She was a Founding Partner and Producer at Checkpoint Productions (NYC), and produced their Off-off Broadway production of Lee Blessing’s Two Rooms. Emily recently finished her MBA in General Management and MA in Arts Administration at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Graduate practica included the Alley Theatre in Houston, Dallas Summer Musicals, Dallas Theatre Center, Shorenstein-Hays Nederlander and Allied Live (NYC). Prior to graduate school Emily spent a decade in New York, first earning a BFA in Acting at Marymount Manhattan College, then learning the financial side of the hospitality and food service industries while supporting her varied practical education in the business of theatre. She is thrilled to continue enabling quality theatre here at Theatre Aspen.
